COME AS YOU ARE. NO SPECIAL EQUIPMENT OR EXPERTISE REQUIRED. CHRISTOPHER AND VICTORIA VACHER, BOTH EXPERIENCED NATURALISTS, WILL GUIDE YOU THROUGH THE FOREST. YOU WILL DISCOVER THE AMAZING WORLD THAT MOST PEOPLE NEVER EXPERIENCE. YOU WILL LEARN ABOUT LIFE FROM DEEP WITHIN THE SOIL, TO THE TOWERING TREETOPS. YOU WILL HAVE A NEW KNOWLEDGE AND PERSPECTIVE OF THE NATURAL WORLD THAT VERY FEW PEOPLE POSSESS. YOU WILL ALSO GET IN TOUCH WITH NATURE (LITERALLY), AND CREATE MEMORIES THAT WILL LAST A LIFETIME.

Victoria and Christopher Vacher bring decades of experience and education of the natural sciences to every informative hike. Victoria is a degreed horticulturist, has taught college level education, is a certified mycologist, and holds current Wilderness First Aid and CPR certifications. Christopher's career in horticulture has led him to assist with conservation projects cooperating with the US Fish and Wildlife Service, The Virginia Department of Forestry, and The US Natural Resources Conservation Service. He has also completed wildland firefighting s130/190 training, is a certified mycologist, and holds current Wilderness First Aid and CPR certifications. Victoria and Christopher have a certificate from, and are proponents of, Leave No Trace principles.
