Join us Friday evening, October 4, 2024 at 6pm for an Enchanted Evening including an exclusive early viewing of the Enchanted Mushroom Festival indoor exhibit, hors d'oeuvres, a presentation about fungi, and the unveiling of the mushroom festival "LOVE" sign. First glass of wine included with donation. Additional glasses of wine can be purchased. Wine service will be provided by Barren Ridge Vineyards. Enchanted Mushrooms is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all proceeds go towards funding the Enchanted Mushroom Festival.

Known far and wide for its mountain music jams, Friday night will be an experience that you won't forget.
Saturday, October 5th, after the festival, be sure to stop in to Baja Bean Co.
Made from scratch selections and a list of craft beers make for a delightful dining experience. The cantina has a full bar as well. Try the Chori-Pollo Chimi! It's deeeelicious.

What are the hours of the festival?
10am-5pm
Is this festival about "magic mushrooms"?
NO. All mushrooms are "magic" but some are a felony to possess. The Enchanted Mushroom Festival is a family-friendly event celebrating the beauty and diversity of mushrooms in nature, and it is not associated with magic mushrooms or any hallucinogenic substances. Enchanted Mushrooms firmly stands against illegal drug use and promotes safe, educational experiences related to fungi.
Can I bring my dog?
We LOVE dogs but we recommend leaving your pets at home for the festival.
Do I need tickets to the festival?
No. The festival is a community event and there is no cost for attending. There will be an outdoor market, an indoor exhibit, and local businesses will be participating. Enchanted Mushrooms is a 501c3 non profit corporation. If you would like to help support the festival and future festivals, please consider a tax-deductible donation.
What happens if it rains?
MUSHROOMS LOVE RAIN and so do mushroom hunters. The festival will be held rain or shine. Pack an umbrella, bring your rain gear, or just enjoy the rain.
Where can we park?
There is on street parking along Churchville Avenue, Buffalo Gap Highway, and Bear Street. You can also park at the Churchville Public Library and in the local church parking lots. For more information, see the festival map.
How do I get there?
From the north and south, take I-81 toward Staunton. Exit #220 will direct you onto Route 262 north. Please do 55 mph on route 262. After doing 70 mph on I-81, it is very easy to find yourself speeding. Follow 262 to the Churchville Avenue exit. At the bottom of the exit, turn left and continue 5 miles until you enter Churchville.
From the east, take I-64 west until it forces you onto I-81 south. The very first exit is #220 for Route 262 north. Please do 55 mph on route 262. After doing 70 mph on I-64, it is very easy to find yourself speeding. Follow 262 to the Churchville Avenue exit. At the bottom of the exit, turn left and continue 5 miles until you enter Churchville.
